Programs and Services

 


Reference services: The hours of operation are from 12pm -6pm Tuesday -Saturday, and they are closed on Sunday and Monday, but the book return is open from 10am -6pm. But due to COVID, the library is closed, but they do offer curbside pickup. Reference books may not be checked out while Library buildings remain closed. Interlibrary Loan requests are temporarily limited to one item per patron per week. Requests may take longer than usual to be filled or may not be able to be filled and may only be picked up from locations offering curbside pickup service


Circulation: The central library offers a wide selection of materials patrons can check out, such as Podcasts, Ebooks on Overdrive, Stream movies, and check out DVDs, Books, Magazines, and Music. 


Internet: The library offers a wide variety of programs and services found on the internet. They offer Story Time, Writing classes, Language classes, virtual citizenship classes, and The Library offers free Adobe, Microsoft, and QuickBooks certification exams. You can also check out the Shelf reads Blog and look for something new to read. They also offer discounts to the local museums.

3.) Read a book to a veteran or senior citizen day

3.) Consulting services


I believe that these programs and services would help our community come together and help one another and learn from each other and teach our children the skills they need to be great adults. They also support our library mission because these programs and services will help bring people and information together to help make our community stronger and better.
