 The Seattle Central Library already has a pretty big social media presence with over fifty-four thousand followers on Facebook alone. Marketing is not easy, especially nowadays with algorithms that are hard to get around. I find that word of mouth and putting up flyers, and having a social media presence works the best. 

Try to branch out and use a social media platform that is not Facebook. I recommend Instagram so that way we can add fun library-related photo's along with promoting our services and programs. This will increase the number of people who follow our library and bring more patrons to use our programs and services. 




As someone who used to spend a lot of time in the library before they had to close due to COVID-19. I would take classes and attend author signings and take my children to Story Time. I am always recommending to people audiobooks and Ebooks I have taken out from the library that I enjoyed reading. I am proud of our library for offering these services and programs for the community to use. especially in these uncertain times. With people having to stay in more it's a great time to pick up a book.
